Mary in the Lazarette, in a stylish dress, in search of an errant fresh water pump that needed replacing before the boat was transported.
The logistics of moving the boat from the ocean to the Mississippi River is a daunting task that can be overwhelming. Someone told us to take it in small bites. They asked if we knew how to eat an elephant. One bite at a time. I asked Mary if she knew what part of the elephant she was at as she went into the ship’s Lazerette. Ask your iPhone for the definition of Lazarette. Mary did it in a stylish dress. I don’t think any guy has gone into the Lazerette wearing a kilt.
